I'm located on the Algonquin and Anishinaabe traditional territories also known as Ottawa Canada. My heritage is from India and my ancestors have traveled to East Africa and England where I was born and I moved to Canada over 20 years ago. Last year my husband and I decided to pack up our lives in Vancouver, BC and move to Ottawa. 

I am a mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister. The way I show up in this world reflects where I’ve come from and the many different chapters in my life, some fun, exciting and privileged and other chapters in grief, depression and destitute.
