Reetu is a leader in health and social care systems with over a decade of experience in Canada and internationally across corporate, academic, government, and not-for-profit sectors. With a PhD in Public Health from the University of Oxford and professional experience in Canada, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, she has led national and global initiatives to strengthen health and social care systems.
Her career is defined by impact: she has trained and mentored over 500 health professionals and scholars, secured strategic funding, managed national standards, informed policies, and built partnerships with high-profile stakeholders, including communities with lived experience. Her expertise bridges policy, governance, practice, research, and education—ensuring initiatives are evidence-informed, inclusive, and people-centered.
Reetu has revived stalled projects, streamlined operations, and developed scalable programs, from integrated healthcare, social determinants of health, and healthy ageing programs in India to advancing EDI and home and community care in Canada. As both a professional and a caregiver, she brings a unique perspective that blends empathy with strategic leadership.
