Felicia is a proud Midwest Latina based in Kansas City. She enjoys yoga, tending to her indoor plant collection, and spending quality time with her dog, family, and community. A new adventure for her is learning how to play bass guitar—a 10-year old goal from when she was in graduate school. Three words that best describe her are: loyal, compassionate, and diligent.

She is passionate about social impact, immigrant rights, food sovereignty, and wellness. She is an accomplished nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience with managing high-performing teams and scaling national programs that enable life-transforming opportunities for students who are systemically disenfranchised.

She has traveled throughout the U.S. partnering with Latino-serving community-based organizations and higher education, developing subject matter expertise in first-generation college access and success. She has also volunteered internationally in Paraguay, Mexico, and Nicaragua.
