Adiba is the research lead at the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, exploring the impacts of immigration and Canadian citizenship.
She is a Bangladeshi, born and reared in the United Arab Emirates, trying to understand what her meaningful space looks like in North America. Working in the realms of immigration and inclusion has been a core element in her academic and professional journey.
Adiba holds a Master’s in Global Affairs from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto, Canada and a bachelor’s in Religion and Political Science from Augustana College in Illinois, United States.
Outside of work, Adiba surrenders to her cat and plants, enjoys travelling with her partner, and spends time with family and friends spread across the globe.
