Annemarie Ojunga Ochieng is a Kenyan -based development consultant with 20 years’ work experience in development and emergency with children, youth, women and their communities in Kenya.

Her career motivation and passion is driven by a deep realization that people and institutions have the potential to create the future they desire when strategically empowered.

As a committed Christian, wife and mother, she aspires to role model and advocate for a world where tolerance, love and peace prevail for sustainable development to thrive in all parts of the world.

Annemarie is professionally trained in Animal Production, Psychological Counseling and is a Certified Professional Mediator, who hopes to inspire transformative change to strengthen families and develop communities in Africa, while keeping children and young people protected for a better future.

Annemarie is strongly convinced that continuous personal growth and development is the first and most important step in the right direction to stay focused and strong for the world and future generations. She is excited to join Women in Power as an Ally.
