Is this a DEI training?

This is not a DEI training. This is a self-authoring leadership program. 

What will I get out of this program?

You will get out of this program what you put into the program. At the very least, you will gain a community of cheerleaders. Hopefully, you will gain new insights, address your biases and blindspots, and be a better leader and ally. 


What is the cost to attend this program? 

Program costs vary based on which Women In Power program you choose. Through the generous support of Suncor Energy Foundation, we are able to offer some of the Women In Power programs at a reduced cost for women employed in the social impact sector. Limited scholarships, especially for Black, Indigenous, and women of colour are available. Please review our program cost page here for more information. 


Why are you charging a fee for this program?

To ensure we get serious applicants that are dedicated to the program. It helps with building a cohort and ensuring there is continuous engagement. 

What does my fee cover?

It will cover expenses related to the program as well as provide scholarships to those that are unable to attend due to the cost of the program.  

How do I know if I am the right fit for this program? 

We recommend you check the about section of the website to determine if you are a good fit for the program. Also, check the different program offerings to determine which Women In Power program is the best fit for you. If you still have questions, please email us. 

Why should I join this program? 

To gain a wider perspective, exchange narratives, address your biases and blindspots and be a better leader/ally. If you need more information, please read the about section and the testimonials sections of the website. 

Can multiple people from my organization join? 

Yes, absolutely. 

Do you have to work in the social impact sector to join? 

Preference is given to individuals employed in the social impact sector. 

Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend my cohort?

All payments are final. We are unable to provide any refunds once your payment has been made. Please ensure you are able to participate in a cohort before sending payment.
